From Bishkek, rising into clouds toward turquoise Sary-Chelek
You leave Bishkek and ascend immediately into the clouds of the Too-Ashu Pass. Mountain walls rise in layers-blue, silver, endless. Ala-Bel cuts the air with icy breath, sharpening your senses. In Chychkan Gorge, cliffs tower above, the river roars below, and the world feels vertical. Toktogul shimmers turquoise, and the forests of Sary-Chelek greet you with emerald silence. Evening falls with the scent of mountain wood, warm yurts, and freshly baked bread that tastes like magic against the backdrop of the mountains.

Sary-Chelek’s forest lake, gliding across the mirrored water
Sunlight filters through the leaves; the lake lies still, a perfect mirror. The boat glides, each stroke of the oar a note in nature’s music. The air is fragrant with pine, damp earth, and wild herbs. A riverside picnic with hot tea and fresh bread anchors you in the moment. Song-Kul Plateau opens before you, the sky seeming close, the horizon infinite.

Descent through the 33 Parrots, turquoise Köl-Suu
Leaving Song-Kul, you descend the 33 Parrots-steep hairpins, clouds beneath your wheels, breath stolen by the view. Passing Naryn, ancient canyons, and the Ak-Sai Gorge, every mile is cinematic; the land is a living masterpiece. Finally, Köl-Suu glimmers-turquoise water embraced by stone walls. Descent to Karakol, Ak-Suu hot springs, Jyrgalan

Evening transfer to Jyrgalan: yurt awaits with hot national dinner-pilaf, fresh flatbreads, tea. First calm evening after high altitudes; soft light and mountain silence restore peace and harmony.

Morning walk at Tulpar-Tash and Semienov Gorge

Road continues to Semienov Gorge: dense pines, mountain river, alpine meadows—total communion with nature. Evening along northern Issyk-Kul shore, traditional dinner by fire, pine scent, laughter, and soft yurt light—pure tranquility.

Grigoriev Gorge
Morning greets with cool air and sunrays over slopes. After breakfast, horseback ride-smooth, confident, along grassy slopes and riverside trails. Path leads to a mountain waterfall: cool spray, fresh air, nature’s power-you feel part of this living world. Evening farewell dinner in the yurt, fire, laughter, stories. The last night in the mountains wraps you in warmth and silence, leaving memories of every moment of the expedition.

Rukh Ordo, Cholpon-Ata, Kok-Moinok, Boom Gorge, return to Bishkek
Morning begins with a light breakfast, mountain air filling your lungs, first sun rays dancing on slopes. You travel to Rukh Ordo-where history, culture, and faith meet on the lakeshore, a touch of eternity. Next, Cholpon-Ata hot springs-final warmth, body and soul relax. Finale: Kok-Moinok and Boom Gorge-rocks tower, rivers rush below, sun reflects off stones; you feel the scale and might of the mountains. Return to Bishkek-yet inside, you are already transformed, carrying yurts, fires, horses, turquoise lakes, and the freedom of the Tien Shan within.
